I’ve had a question come in from Donna in W.A. asking whether there is any research regarding the career success / levels reached for women who attended same sex (and generally private?) schools compared with women who attended co-ed schools?? It’s an interesting question and got me thinking… I’m aware of many debates re the merits of co-ed schools where girls must learn to compete / co-exist with boys (a skill they may find useful in their working lives?) and the suggestion that academically girls achieve at higher levels in a single sex environment…. but is there any research to back it up?
Any opinions, tips or links you could share?
