Life Balance Series: Free opportunities in Adelaide to improve work-life balance

Sometimes the easiest way to get better work-life balance is to commit yourself (and your family, friends or partners) to attending stand out events you know you’ll want to go to even if you’re tired.

I found a couple of great free or chap events and offers in Adelaide in late May and June, so you have enough time to plan to get there, and they all offer different enjoyment or personal growth benefits.

So in the interests of working and living well, pick an event! Let us know how it is once you’ve gone in the comment section.

Wildlife Photographer of the Year: 5th May – 20th June
International photos of nature and wildlife from over 43,000 entires in 16 categories. So it’s not exactly free, it’s $5 for adults, $2 for children but it’s a great way to enjoy the beauty of nature in an air conditioned environment!>

Port Bikes is a free bike hire scheme, so grab a friend or two, pack a picnic and ride around and explore the port Adelaide Coastal area.

Women’s Community Centre
Offers an incredible range of free or cheap activities, from community lunches to book clubs to bushwalking or cycling groups to make up classes to yoga. This is a great opportunity to meet other women, and learn new skills/hobbies.
