You might have read on The PR Warrior’s blog that there’s been a bit of a “coming of age” of Australia’s bloggers… and yours truly is very pleased to be part of that. As the PR Warrior has pointed out, Westfield currently has a $100k offer to find a fashion blogger, and who could forget that Hamilton Island dream job for a blogger last year… sigh…
In its September PR Report, communications conference organiser FROCOMM
listed some of Australia’s leading bloggers under a number of sectors
including finance/business, fashion/events, style, food, wine/beer,
education, parenting etc – here’s the list and I think you’ll find several of them particularly useful:
- Craig Reardon – The E Team/Smart Company
- Fred Schebesta – Credit Card Finder
- Carrie Choo – Daily Addict
- Matt Jordan – Imelda.com.au
- Lorraine Elliott – Not Quite Nigella
- Kylie Vowles – WineFoodHotel.com
- Emma Stirling – The Scoop on Nutrition
- George Ujvary – The Foodologist
- Andrew Graham – Australian Wine Review
- Christie Connelly – Fig & Cherry
- Melissa Klemke – Frills in the Hills
- Neil Pierson – Our Convent
- Ann Nolan – Babysitterdirectory.com
- Nikki Parkinson – Styling You
- Jen Dalitz – SheEO Blog
- Lara Solomon – Social Rabbit
My faves on this list (perhaps unsurprisingly) are Daily Addict (with every style tip you need to know), Not Quite Nigella (love the post about silent dinner parties), Babysitterdirectory.com (everything you need to know about childcare) and Social Rabbit (with all the latest tips and tools to get up and running with social media).
Happy browsing!
