In case you missed it, here’s a snippit. In response, ANZ, Westpac and Commonwealth […]

Monika I am so sorry: Sorry I didn’t stand up for you, and sorry for your pain

You don’t know me, Monika, but I feel like I’ve always known you. Or at least I’ve known that picture of you that the media had painted: the “tramp, tart, slut, whore, bimbo”. But now I realize, listening to this TED speech, that I never knew you at all. Now I realize how much my […]

What if YOUR daughter wants to be a soldier?

Perhaps the only good thing to come out of yet another Defence scandal this week is the blistering speech by Lieutenant General David Morrison who delivered a clear and candid message to his troops: “those that think that it is ok to behave in a …

This is so up my alley. "In order to liberate women, we need to liberate men." (Anne Hathaway - UN Women Goodwill Ambassador). Check this out, I'm in awe. My friend Ronni Kahn is at it again, disrupting the food supply chain, offering food security to the vulnerable. I've shared before about OzHarvest. When I first met Ronni ten years ago I knew she was special, but what she has achieved and continues to achieve truly blows my mind. She cares so much about the people that OzHarvest serves, and every person in her life, and gives her everything to make sure that no person needs to go hungry. The international expansion of OzHarvest is awesome, and this "take what you need" supermarket in Sydney is just brilliance. Repurposing and rehoming surplus food, keeping it out of landfill so that we all benefit and business overheads are lowered. Win. Win. Win. Love it! ... See MoreSee Less
