INVITATION: Wow. WOW! Come spend this Sunday night in Sydney with me and Will.I.Am and Champagne GH Mumm!

OK it doesn’t get much better than this: Will.I.Am choosing the tunes on the jukebox, a Sydney Harbour backdrop, catching up over a glass or two or three of Champagne GH Mumm. So what do you think, care to join me?  I have a double pass to get along and I’m looking for someone to […]

To everything (turn turn turn) there is a season. What’s your season, right now?

This song, originally by Pete Seeger and made famous by The Byrds, says it all. If you were a fan of Forest Gump you’ll remember the Byrds version from the movie, but my favorite version for its simplicity and honesty (think Joni Mitchell) is this one by Judy Collins from 1966:   I know. It’s […]

From one to a community of 92,000 – this is what happens when women come together

Last night in Sydney as the skies oozed with drizzle and commuters rushed home before the clouds burst open, a small gang of troublemakers came together to reflect.  It’s been five years since the audacious launch of 1millionwomen by founder…

This is so up my alley. "In order to liberate women, we need to liberate men." (Anne Hathaway - UN Women Goodwill Ambassador). Check this out, I'm in awe. My friend Ronni Kahn is at it again, disrupting the food supply chain, offering food security to the vulnerable. I've shared before about OzHarvest. When I first met Ronni ten years ago I knew she was special, but what she has achieved and continues to achieve truly blows my mind. She cares so much about the people that OzHarvest serves, and every person in her life, and gives her everything to make sure that no person needs to go hungry. The international expansion of OzHarvest is awesome, and this "take what you need" supermarket in Sydney is just brilliance. Repurposing and rehoming surplus food, keeping it out of landfill so that we all benefit and business overheads are lowered. Win. Win. Win. Love it! ... See MoreSee Less
