Employers: Measuring the value of training for your staff

Many of the women who attend the Ascend development days are sponsored by their employers, and the feedback from both the women and their employers is always very positive. While Ascend is a unique kind of training, being specialised, evolving and diverse, the days of questioning the value of training staff are over.

One question I’m often asked is what is the value, for the company, of investing in their senior women in this way. Whilst I love answering this question, it points to a bigger one that’s often swirling around HR and execs minds: can you measure the value of training?
