Save $700 on Women on Boards conference – the “must attend” board event for 2011

Are you thinking of joining a board this year?  Or already on one?  Then you will benefit from attending the 2011 “Gender Matters” conference being run by Women on Boards in April this year.  sphinxx is again organizing agroup booking to enable sphinxx readers to receive a $700 discount on the public registration price.

This is one event that is firmly fixed in my 2011 calendar and I encourage you all – men and women alike – to come along too: the networking is superb, the workshops are insightful and the debates are courageous… Contact me now if you’d like to take up one of our group places.

If you would like to:

  • Stay at the cutting edge of the attitudes and actions on gender diversity in Australia’s workplaces and boardrooms
  • Be someone who leads on this critically important issue for Australia in the coming decade
  • Shape a workplace where gender does NOT matter

…then we invite you to join our group and further your knowledge on the opportunities for women on boards.

To join the sphinxx booking** and receive our group booking rate of $1290 per person or $1190 for NFP representatives (2-day conference + dinner package) – a saving of $700 – please contact me before 24thFebruary to register your interest.

* * PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE ONLY 8 PLACES REMAINING AT THIS PRICE * *

The last WOB conference in 2009 was – I think – instrumental in driving debate re quotas and targets and ultimately the ASX corporate governance guidelines on gender diversity and I think we can expect some great networking and plenty of heavy hitters in attendance again – both women and especially men in high profile exec and director roles that are definitely worth meeting.

This year’s conference is on 28-29 April with the director mentoring dinner on the 28th (this is always a fabulous networking opportunity for those wishing to make board connections).  Click here to view the full conference program details.

If you’d like to extend this invitation to friends and colleagues that is also fine – just ask them to respond directly to me if they’d like one of the places as I’m sure they’ll be snapped up quickly, as they were last time.
