Win a $3,000 scholarship to participate in WLA’s emerging leaders program

Work in Professional Services? Want to sharpen your leadership skills? Have the XX chromosome? Then you might be interested in the scholarships of up to $3,000 available to women professionals for the WLA Emerging Leaders Program.  At a time when the workforce is defined by skill shortages, this program is part of a nationwide initiative to assist Australian organisations to unlock the potential of their frontline and mid-level female managers.

Designed in response to feedback from leading employers and employer groups, the program provides a practice-based platform to enhance the capabilities of existing managers, in preparation for future advancement.  For participants, the program offers an opportunity to reflect on their career aspirations and refocus on the next stage of their leadership journey. In addition to inspiring them towards peak performance, the program sets out to assist students to create powerful, life-long connections. Read more about the program here

For a copy of the scholarship application form, contact Nicole Miran-Khan by email or phone her at WLA on 1300 138 037.

Check this out, I'm in awe. My friend Ronni Kahn is at it again, disrupting the food supply chain, offering food security to the vulnerable. I've shared before about OzHarvest. When I first met Ronni ten years ago I knew she was special, but what she has achieved and continues to achieve truly blows my mind. She cares so much about the people that OzHarvest serves, and every person in her life, and gives her everything to make sure that no person needs to go hungry. The international expansion of OzHarvest is awesome, and this "take what you need" supermarket in Sydney is just brilliance. Repurposing and rehoming surplus food, keeping it out of landfill so that we all benefit and business overheads are lowered. Win. Win. Win. Love it! ... See MoreSee Less
